Great job over the weekend! I saw some excellent play and work ethic on the courts.

Today, the courts are drenched ... and there is more impending rain.. practice is canceled today.

Also , please add Monday Oct 5th to your calendar.. we are playing Pioneer ( at home , for now, that might change. )

QDOBA DAY

Anytime afterschool until 10pm you can help the Saline Boys Tennis program. I will be at the school giving away the fliers and I'll be at qdoba at 3ish.

Saturday..

it is an all day event.. we will meet at the Saline High Courts at 7:40am . Bring food , lots of water, blankets to sit on, sunscreen. .and get ready for a great day of tennis! Tournaments can go anywhere from 3pm- 6pm. .be prepared!

listen to the announcements at the end of school. i won't have access to my computer in an hour or to make the announcement here on the blog. basically though, if the courts are wet.. no practice.

QDOBA fundraiser for tennis program

Wednesday, Sept 23 @ Qdoba at 2252 South Main Street in Ann Arbor (In the Woodland Plaza shopping ctr)-- plan to come after the home varsity match.( or JV practice)

**EVENT FLYER NEEDED**- flyers will be available at the courts during practice and the athletic office starting Monday, Sept 21. More info on Monday.

friday's practice and tourney

friday.. we have a mandatory meeting in the auditorium at 3:00pm . Since we usually meet under the shed at 3.. ill be there and we can go over to the meeting together, as a team. you are to sit with other tennis team members. We will play tennis after the meeting, time permitting.

FOR TOMORROW -

1. bring lots and lots of water
2. suncreen
3. your uniform
4 . pack a little cooler of food--- parents are invited to bring food for the whole team ( which will be 10-12 people tomorrow ) However, parents are not obligated to do so.

Andy will be coaching you tomorrow along with the Varsity team. I am photographing a wedding. and just because I can , and I know you will all be mad at me for saying this..

TOURNAMENT THIS SAT.

We have the opportunity to play in a Varsity tournament this weekend . I need 10-12 guys ( Andy will give you guys the numbers at practice). The tournament is this Saturday at Saline. This is such a great opportunity, I expect that the top 10 -12 players should without a doubt play in this tournament.

Sept 15 - at Detroit Catholic Central
Sept 16-- shortened practice 3-4:30
Sept 17- Novi Home
Sept 22- Country Day home
Sept 23- possible match against Ypsilanti
Sept. 26- Ann Arbor Huron Invite
Oct. 1 - Greenhills ( I think at home, i"ll check )


We are going to try to reschedule this Huron match, as well as get a Pioneer Match.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Hi guys.. great work during these summer practices. I have been amazed to see your progress.

We have no practice on Friday or Monday, so all of you traveling ( HAVE FUN!! ) .
Tuesday , right after school practice is 3-5 and we have a match against Huron at home on Wednesday. So get ready! Hit with someone over the weekend.
